About

Box Paradox 🎁 is a game about the Monty Hall problem: pick a box, watch the empty ones open, then decide whether to stick with your pick or switch.

The puzzle goes back to Joseph Bertrand’s box paradox of 1889. Steve Selvin posed the game show version in 1975, naming it after Monty Hall, the host of Let’s Make a Deal, and Marilyn vos Savant’s answer to it in Parade in 1990 started one of the most famous arguments in probability.
